- prepare a short pitch presentation deck
- Pictures will be made available for review online
- Ideas, concepts and rationales are important
- Doesn’t have to be visually polished
- Pitching is essential to your practice
- A client should pay you to produce a pitch
- Social pitch: a creative event or opportunity in Leeds. Demonstrate how this could be an exciting place for creatives. Could be an exhibition, series of talks, podcast, workshop, screening, performance, pop up, group of club?
- Use sketches, mock up etc
- Commercial pitch: how could you pitch for a commercial product, such as logo, promotional material, ad, product label, packaging, POS?
- Figure out your pitch presentation: is it a PDF, PowerPoint, keynote, google slides
- Does it have physical examples, mock-ups etc
- How will you pitch as a group?
- Explain the idea in written from under 280 characters
- Decide on the roles of everyone in your team
- What can you bring to the team: expertise, strengths, weaknesses, how can you contribute, what aspects can you cover
- Consider branding, venues, rationales, materials and marketing, costs
- Deliverables: pitch presentation, design boards, PPP blog
