  • Every page was an entirely different design; was a lot more work than other magazines that followed the same rules and layouts


  • Postmodernist approach; experimental and intuitive 
  • Carson just did what he felt was right 
  • Links to connecting to people emotionally; Carson states that is what makes something lasting
