Product, range and distribution

 Product, range and distribution

  • Alternative ways to communicate to your audience
  • Ethical awareness
  • Audience engagement
  • You should have written your brief and aims
  • Now; start developing a selected idea
  • Continued development considering how your designs could work across platforms
  • Focused iterations as you work towards your outcome
  • This week; reflect on initial ideas
  • Select the most appropriate direction
  • Start experimentation in response to that direction
  • Work on the core platform/ product initially and then we will be exploring range
This week:
  • Start getting initial ideas done/ developing them
  • Write up a list of aims
  • Explore censorship in maximalist ways and minimalist ways

Platforms
  • Interactive posters?
  • Social media
  • The Rodina; performance and graphic design
  • Using stickers; interactive elements
  • Identify your restrictions and work to these restrictions
  • Freedom to redefine the process of design traditions
  • Emotional engagement
  • For my project; stickers could peel off for audiences to stick on their phones?
  • Challenge boundaries
  • For my project; the publication could consist of stickers that the audience place onto the corresponding posters in Berlin to censor the information?
  • The idea of opening a discussion; why should you outcome exist in that format?
  • Having an event as a product?
  • Experiencing an event rather than an object?
