Initial hand drawn type

I wanted to experiment with hand drawn type to reflect my goals to explore typography more and produce more hand rendered stuff. Above is a selection of the initial sketches; I liked the distorted/ messy nature of the type, as it links to the kind of intentionally bad atmosphere I want to create throughout all of the designs.

Digital colouring

I don't really like how these digital versions turned out; they look too flat and boring. I want the business cards to use more chaotic and ugly gradients and textures to relate to the theme of not taking graphics too seriously.
