Initial 5 events cards

Drawing type left handed

To link to the theme of the business cards being intentionally bad, I decided to draw the typeface for the 5 events cards left handed. This created an intentionally messy and sporadic design which I feel like fits with the rest of my business cards (I still want them to all fit together subtly). I also drew some shit illustrations to add onto the designs; they reminded me of Seapunchs' work. 

Adding colour/ imagery

I used thresholded textures of images relating to each business card; I felt like this was more appropriate for events as they specifically referenced things. I again used an intentionally ugly colour palette, and used the illustrations to provide consistency. I also like how the textured background abstracts the original images as it puts my personal style into the design. 

Now I need to consider the back of these business cards; I will probably use the same textures and illustrations to create a link between either side.
