New textures

Playing with new textures (using Tarkovsky imagery)

For further experimentation, I decided to explore the idea of 'houses are silent' with using imagery from Tarkovskys 'mirror' with visuals of a burning house. I thought it would be interesting to abstract this image using textures and soft colour palettes.

These designs use a super crop texture with a gradient effect added to reflect the soft vocals in post punk. I feel like there isn't enough contrast in these designs; I think that adding black would reflect the genres instrumentals better.

These textures added more black and uses the 3D effect to add more depth, which I think works quite well. Personally, I don't think I like these textures compared to my previous designs, as they look less contemporary; however, I could do with getting some feedback.

These designs added my typeface to frame the design; I feel like this completes the design a lot more. However,  feel like these colour palettes look a bit wishy washy, and don't communicate the genre as effectively.
