Improving the meme cards based on feedback

Improving the meme card 'red reveal'

Acting on my peer feedback, I decided to add some explanations to the back of the meme cards in order to create more of a witty and playful sense of voice. This will explain to the user why the card belongs where it does, even though there is no correlation at all; this kind of adds a sense of frustration into the game, which makes the user experience a lot more playful and interesting.

Adding explanations to the back of the meme cards:

Sonic fade kid -c10. Even though he has the sickest fade of all time, sonic fade kid is the local bully claiming it to be a part of ‘free speech’. his favourite mario kart character is wario which says a lot

Toilet weasel - a3. Despite his friendly exterior, toilet weasel is ruthless when it comes to communism

Yee yee brandon fraser - J9. Yee yee brandon fraser believes in a free market and enjoys listening to take me home, country roads

Funkypuss -k5. Funkypuss (bagpuss’s much cooler cousin) never takes those sweet sweet shades off and exclusively listens to boney m’s greatest hits with the homies… right on funkypuss

Poetic rat- e4. Poetic rat thinks he is edgy by basing his identity on communist memes and has a flag in his bedroom… gets him the girls tho am i right poetic rat

Red reveal
I also improved the red reveal element of the card designs to make it clearer for the user (shown above).
