Sticker concepts

 Sticker concepts

I wanted to create some initial sticker designs to experiment and select which elements of our branding would work well as stickers; I wanted to initially focus on our visual branding, as obviously we want to create a brand identity alongside the publication.

Due to this, the first sticker concepts I created were pretty simple; they featured the logo (both the character logo and the type logo), a glyph character and some eyes. I think that it is essential that we include our logo within the stickers, but I think the version without the eyes would work best. Despite this, I quite like the idea of just including the eyes within the sticker pack, as it allows the audience to stick them on stuff to personify them, which relates the the anthropomorphic nature of the MoodGlyph characters. Upon reflection, I think I might start developing some letterform characters from the submissions, as I feel like they would be a great way to showcase the letterforms within the MoodGlyph alphabet outside of the actual type specimen. As well as this, I need to select specific letterforms that would work best as characters/ stickers, so ideally submissions that are chunky and have character to play with. We could also possibly feature these in some sort of promotional animation, as we haven't posted on our instagram in a while, so we could making start to consider making some more content. This will help us kind of hype up the release of the publication bundle, which hopefully we will be selling post submission deadline (in uni).
